Cheviot View Bed and Breakfast is located beside the Green in the centre of the traditional Scottish village of Ancrum in the rural Scottish Borders. Ancrum village Green is half a mile from the A68 main road which runs between Edinburgh (44 miles to the North) and Newcastle (51 miles to the South). We are ideally situated surrounded by the local towns (6 miles south of Melrose, 4 miles north of Jedburgh, and 10 miles from Kelso, Galashiels and Hawick).
From here you can enjoy a day in Edinburgh and a day at the coast, near Berwick, without the difficulty and expense of changing accommodation.
We are in the middle of the picturesque Scottish Borders with easy road access to the many historical sites and cultural events which make it so rewarding to visit and stay a few days to enjoy the friendly atmosphere. We are happy to provide information and advice to make your stay a memorable one.
